Quintana Roo

This week i read an article on The Guardian called „Sun sets on Mexico’s paradise beaches as climate crisis hits home”. It’s about how climate change influence a very atractive mexico coastal area, Quintana Roo. Because of climat changes, sea level is rising, beaches are dissapearing and they’re often no wider than a dirt road. It’s disturbing, because near beaches are built homes etc. and when the strand will completely vanish, the waves would be breaking again the walls of those buildings. I think that the construction in that area is a bit ill-considered. Other negative effect of climate change is increase in intensity of hurricanes and the plague of algal blooms, that are due to higher oceans temperatures. In my opinion, it’s terryfing, how much the effects of climate changing can destroy.
