Florence and the machine is the british indie rock band. Its lead singer is Florence Welch. the first line-up of the band was her, Isabella „Machine” Summers and a drum kit (2007). When the band released their first album - „Lungs” they met great success. It was in 2009. Their second album - „Ceremonials” was also very successful, seiling roughly 1 million copies. They released third album in 2015 - How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful and one of their songs („What kind of Man”) get a nomination for a Grammy Award.
Their fourth album saw the daylight in 1918. Now the band consists of 9 people, their last single is „Light of love” from April 2020.
