Polish people are said to be very hospitable and kind. It depends on the man. Sometimes you can meet very nice and helpful person, which will immediately impress you, this is usually the case. There are those who are surly, but it’s normal. Looking at other Europeans, i think we are in the middle. For example in Italy and Spain people are usually very helpful and nice to each other, they’re open to new people. But if we look up the map, those from Scandinavia are very sniff and emotionless to each other. So we’re in the middle of the map and this situation.
And there are cultures, like the British, where people are very kind but it is only a sign of good manners and not an overall positive attitude. I don't know which is better: British hypocrisy or Scandinavian detachment.
